Amino Acid Sequence of Recombinant Protein:

Preparation:
Produced from sera of goats immunized with highly pure Recombinant Human LD78β (CCL3L1). The anti-Human LD78β (CCL3L1)-specific antibody was purified by affinity chromatography and biotinylated.

Sandwich ELISA:
To detect Human LD78β by sandwich ELISA (using 100 µL/well antibody solution), a concentration of 0.25–1.0 µg/mL is required. This biotinylated polyclonal antibody, in conjunction with PeproTech Polyclonal Anti-Human LD78β (500-P187G) as a capture antibody, allows detection of at least 0.2–0.4 ng/well of Recombinant Human LD78β.

Western Blot:
For detection of Human LD78β by Western blot, use at 0.1–0.2 µg/mL. When used with compatible secondary reagents, detection limit for Recombinant Human LD78β is 1.5–3.0 ng/lane under reducing or non-reducing conditions.

Target Information

This gene encodes a cytokine belonging to the chemokine family, located on chromosome 17q. The protein binds to several chemokine receptors, including CCR5—a co-receptor for HIV—where binding inhibits viral entry. The gene exhibits copy number variation among individuals, typically ranging from one to six copies. Variations may influence disease susceptibility. This record represents one of two copies on the ALT_REF_LOCI_2 haplotype of the GRCh38 human reference genome. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
