For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

E-Cadherin (epithelial cadherin) is a calcium-dependent cell-cell adhesion glycoprotein belonging to the cadherin superfamily. It consists of five extracellular cadherin repeats, a transmembrane region, and a conserved cytoplasmic tail.
Mutations in CDH1 are associated with gastric, breast, colorectal, thyroid, and ovarian cancers. Loss of E-Cadherin function contributes to tumor progression by enhancing proliferation, invasion, and metastasis.
E-Cadherin also mediates bacterial adhesion and plays a key role in maintaining tissue integrity and architecture. In humans, the CDH1 gene is located on chromosome 16.
