Target Information
Aipl1은 Leber congenital amaurosis (LCA)와 관련된 단백질로, 광수용체의 비정상 발달로 인한 상염색체 열성 질환에서 발견됩니다. Aipl1은 tetratricopeptide repeat 단백질로 HSP90 매개 핵 이동 및 aryl hydrocarbon receptor의 전사활성화에 관여하는 ARA9과 높은 상동성을 보입니다. 또한 Hsp90 및 Hsp70과 상호작용하는 샤페론 복합체의 일부로 작용하며, 세포주기 조절인자 NUB1과도 결합합니다. 이러한 상호작용은 정상적인 광수용체 성숙에 필수적이며, 돌연변이는 Hsp 샤페론과의 결합을 손상시켜 LCA를 유발할 수 있습니다. 최소 세 가지 isoform이 알려져 있습니다.
