Target Information
L3MBTL1은 초파리에서 신경모세포 및 신경절 모세포의 악성 변형을 억제하는 단백질의 상동체로 확인된 단백질입니다. L3MBTL1은 유사분열 세포의 응축된 염색체에 위치하며, 교종 세포주에서 이 단백질의 과발현은 부적절한 핵 분리 및 세포질 분열을 유도하여 다핵 세포를 생성합니다.
이 단백질은 Polycomb group 유전자에 속하며, 염색질 변형을 통해 유전자 활성을 조절합니다. 또한 단백질의 단일 및 이중 메틸라이신 잔기를 인식하여 번역 후 변형 네트워크의 리더로 작용합니다. 다양한 이소폼을 암호화하는 전사 변이체가 확인되었습니다.
