For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

GADD153 (also known as DDIT3) is a small nuclear protein that dimerizes with transcription factors C/EBPα and C/EBPβ. The resulting complex inhibits normal C/EBP binding to classical sites and gains activity toward non-classical stress-related targets.
Under normal conditions, GADD153 expression is minimal but becomes strongly upregulated during cellular or ER stress, such as treatment with tunicamycin, nutrient starvation, or reducing agents that disrupt calcium flux across the ER membrane.
