Product Specific Information

The FN50 monoclonal antibody reacts with human CD69, also known as very early activation antigen (VEA). CD69 is a 30 kDa disulfide-linked dimer expressed on lymphocytes, monocytes, and platelets, and is rapidly upregulated upon activation.

• Applications Reported: Flow cytometric analysis
• Applications Tested: Pre-diluted and validated on stimulated human peripheral blood cells at 5 µL (0.125 µg) per test
• Definition of Test: Amount of antibody that stains a cell sample in 100 µL final volume (10^5–10^8 cells/test)

Alexa Fluor 561 emits at 575 nm and is suitable for spectral cytometers.

Target Information

CD69 (AIM, Active Inducer Molecule) is a gp28/34 disulfide-bonded homodimer (~60 kDa, non-reducing). It contains N-linked oligosaccharides and is expressed on activated platelets and lymphocytes. CD69 plays a role in lymphocyte signal transduction and proliferation, and may transmit signals in NK cells and platelets. Multiple transcript variants exist. Associated diseases include coccidiodomycosis and asthma.
