This antibody is predicted to react with mouse based on sequence homology.
Intact IgG appears on a non-reducing gel as ~150 kDa band and upon reduction generates a ~25 kDa light chain band and a ~50 kDa heavy chain.
Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems developed by cloning specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select optimal candidates for production.

Target Information
Histones are basic nuclear proteins responsible for the nucleosome structure of chromosomal fibers in eukaryotes.
Two molecules of each core histone (H2A, H2B, H3, H4) form an octamer, around which approximately 146 bp of DNA is wrapped to form nucleosomes.
The linker histone H1 interacts with linker DNA between nucleosomes, aiding chromatin compaction into higher-order structures.
This gene is intronless, encodes a member of the histone H4 family, and its transcripts lack polyA tails, containing instead a palindromic termination element.
Located in the large histone gene cluster on chromosome 6.
