Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
CD45 (LCA, leukocyte common antigen) is a receptor-type protein tyrosine phosphatase (PTP) expressed in all nucleated hematopoietic cells, constituting about 10% of lymphocyte surface proteins. It is absent in non-hematopoietic cells and tissues.
CD45 plays a critical role in lymphocyte development and antigen signaling by regulating Src-family kinases. Multiple isoforms exist due to alternative splicing, differing in extracellular domains but sharing identical transmembrane and cytoplasmic domains.
CD45RA is one isoform with restricted expression among lymphoid cell subtypes. CD45 regulates T- and B-cell receptor signaling, modulates cytokine receptor pathways via JAK kinases, and influences cell survival and apoptosis.
