Target Information
NR2E3 (NR2 Hepatocyte NF4-Like Receptor)는 망막 발달 과정에서 cone cell 증식에 영향을 미치는 것으로 알려져 있습니다. 인간 retinogenesis 동안 photoreceptor phenotype 결정에 관여하며, RD7 마우스에서 NR2E3 결손은 유전성 망막 이형성과 퇴행을 유발합니다. NR2E3의 동형접합 missense 변이는 Belmonte 지역 Crypto-Jews에서 발생하는 망막색소변성증(retinitis pigmentosa)과 관련이 있습니다. 두 가지 alternative spliced isoform이 보고되었으며, NR2E3는 망막에서 발현됩니다. 또한 인간 폐, 대장, 난소 암 조직 및 정상 안구 조직에서 EST가 확인되었습니다.
