Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits are cloned, and individual clones are screened to select the best candidates for production.

Target Information
PKM2 (Pyruvate Kinase M2) catalyzes the conversion of phosphoenolpyruvate to pyruvate and ATP. It interacts with thyroid hormone, mediating metabolic effects induced by thyroid hormones. PKM2 also binds to Opa protein, a bacterial outer membrane protein involved in gonococcal adherence and invasion of human cells, suggesting its role in bacterial pathogenesis.
Three alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding two distinct isoforms of PKM2 have been reported.
