Target Information
NFkB p52는 핵 내 전사인자 복합체 NFkB의 서브유닛을 암호화하는 유전자에 의해 생성됩니다. NFkB는 다양한 세포 유형에서 발현되며 염증 및 면역 기능 관련 유전자의 중심 활성 인자로 작용합니다. 이 단백질은 결합 파트너에 따라 전사 활성화 또는 억제 기능을 가질 수 있습니다. p100 전장 단백질은 번역 중 처리되어 활성 형태인 p52로 전환됩니다. 이 유전자 부위의 염색체 재배열 및 전위는 일부 B 세포 림프종에서 관찰되며, 융합 단백질 형성을 유발할 수 있습니다. 염색체 18에 해당 유전자의 유사 유전자(pseudogene)가 존재하며, 대체 스플라이싱으로 여러 전사 변이가 생성됩니다.
