Product Specific Information

The N418 monoclonal antibody reacts with mouse CD11c, the integrin alpha X. CD11c associates with beta 2 integrin to form the CD11c/CD18 heterodimer, expressed by dendritic cells, intestinal intraepithelial lymphocytes, and activated T cells. It binds to CD54, iC3b, and fibrinogen, playing a role in leukocyte adhesion.

Applications Reported: Flow cytometric analysis.
Applications Tested: Mouse splenocytes, ≤0.5 µg/test (100 µL volume). Optimize empirically for best performance.

• Light sensitivity: Protect from light to prevent photo-induced oxidation.
• Fixation: Can be stored up to 3 days at 4°C in IC Fixation Buffer (Product #00-822-49) or 1-step Fix/Lyse Solution (Product #00-5333-54).

Target Information

CD11, together with CD18, forms a heterodimer adhesion molecule.

• CD11a: Expressed in B/T lymphocytes, macrophages, monocytes, neutrophils, basophils, eosinophils.
• CD11b: Expressed in monocytes, macrophages, NK cells, some B/T cells, granulocytes.
• CD11c: Expressed in monocytes, macrophages, NK cells, some granulocytes, and subsets of lymphocytes.
