Target Information
PSA (Prostate-Specific Antigen)는 전립선 상피세포에서 생성되는 키모트립신 유사 세린 프로테아제로, 칼리크레인(kallikrein) 계열에 속합니다. 정액 내에 풍부하며, 전립선암 환자의 혈청에서도 검출됩니다. PSA는 주로 간에서 유래된 세린 프로테아제 억제제인 alpha-1-antichymotrypsin (ACT)과 복합체를 형성하며, 전립선암에서는 양성 전립선 비대증보다 더 많은 PSA가 ACT와 결합된 형태로 존재합니다. PSA는 원발 및 전이성 암에서 전립선 소엽세포 기원을 확인하고, 비전립선암 유사체를 배제하는 데 사용됩니다.
