Target Information
HIV-1 Tat (Trans-Activator of Transcription)은 아형에 따라 86~101개의 아미노산으로 구성됩니다. Tat 단백질은 HIV 복제에 필수적이며, 바이러스 RNA의 헤어핀 구조로 인한 전사 억제를 보완합니다. 소량의 RNA 전사물로부터 Tat 단백질이 생성되며, Tat은 세포 인자를 인산화하여 헤어핀 구조의 억제 효과를 제거하고 HIV RNA 전사를 촉진합니다. 이로 인해 전사 속도가 증가하며, 양성 피드백 루프가 형성됩니다. 감염된 세포에서 배양 시 분비되며, HIV-1 감염 환자의 혈액에서도 발견됩니다.
