Target Information
Skp2 (S-phase Kinase-associated Protein 2)는 Cyclin A-Cdk2 복합체와 상호작용하는 F-box 단백질 계열에 속합니다. Skp2는 변형된 세포 및 이배체 섬유아세포 모두에서 G1-S 전이에 필수적입니다. 생화학적 및 유전적 실험을 통해 Skp2가 p27의 유비퀴틴화 및 분해에 필요함이 입증되었습니다. 정상 조직에서는 편도와 태반에서 발현되며, 종양 조직에서는 다양한 암종(대장, 전립선, 췌장, 피부 등)에서 넓게 발현되고, 특히 폐, 유방, 난소, 자궁내막암에서 높은 발현을 보입니다. 연구 결과 Skp2는 종양 발생, 특히 림프종 및 유방암의 병태생리에 관여하는 것으로 제시됩니다.
