Target Information
CD21 (complement receptor 2, CR2, C3D receptor, EBV receptor)는 C3 보체 조각, 특히 활성화 표면 또는 항원에 공유 결합된 분해 조각과 결합합니다.
CD21은 면역복합체의 흡수 및 유지, 메모리 B 세포의 생존, T 의존성 항원에 대한 체액성 면역 반응의 발달 및 유지에 중요한 역할을 합니다.
또한 Epstein-Barr virus(EBV)의 주요 수용체로 작용하며, 프리온을 여포 수지상세포로 전달하고 신경 침투를 촉진하는 데 관여합니다.
CD21의 용해형 형태(sCD21)는 림프구 표면에서 절단되어 리간드 결합 능력을 유지합니다.
CD21은 C3d, C3dg, iC3b 보체 구성요소, EBV, IFNα의 수용체로 기능하며, CD23에 결합하고 CD19, CD81, Leu13과 함께 B 세포 활성화에 관여하는 신호전달 복합체를 형성합니다.
