• Avoid cycles of freezing and thawing.
• Centrifuge product if not completely clear after standing at room temperature.
• Stable for several weeks at 4°C as an undiluted liquid.
• Dilute only prior to immediate use.

This antibody recognizes endogenous mouse and recombinant human C/EBP delta protein. BLAST analysis indicates cross-reactivity with human C/EBPd based on 77% homology with the immunizing sequence. No cross-reactivity is observed with mouse C/EBPa or C/EBPb. Reactivity with C/EBPd from other species has not been determined.

Target Information

C/EBP delta belongs to the CCAAT enhancer-binding protein (CEBP) family of transcription factors, characterized by a conserved basic-leucine zipper domain at the C-terminus responsible for dimerization and DNA binding.
At least six family members (CEBP alpha to CEBP zeta) have been identified.
CEBPD functions as a leucine zipper DNA-binding protein that regulates gene expression in tissues such as liver, adipose, lung, and intestine.
It acts as a transcriptional activator in immune and inflammatory responses and exhibits tumor suppressor-like properties.
