SPARCL1은 분비 단백질로 세포외기질에서 발견됩니다. 림프절, 뇌, 심장, 폐, 골격근, 난소, 소장, 결장에서 높은 발현을 보이며, 태반, 췌장, 고환, 비장, 흉선에서는 낮은 수준으로, 신장, 간, 말초혈액 백혈구에서는 발현되지 않습니다.
