• Heat-mediated antigen retrieval is recommended prior to staining, using a 10 mM citrate buffer (pH 6.0) for 10 minutes, followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 minutes.
• Following antigen retrieval, incubate samples with primary antibody for 30 minutes at room temperature.
• Suggested positive control: esophageal carcinoma.

PTGS1 (COX1, Cyclooxygenase 1)는 프로스타글란딘 생합성의 핵심 효소로, dioxygenase 및 peroxidase 활성을 모두 가집니다.
PTGS에는 두 가지 이소효소, 즉 구성적 발현의 PTGS1과 유도성 PTGS2가 있으며, 발현 조절 및 조직 분포에서 차이를 보입니다.
이 유전자는 내피 세포의 혈관신생 조절에 관여하며, 아스피린과 같은 비스테로이드성 소염제(NSAIDs)에 의해 억제됩니다.
PTGS1은 세포 간 신호전달 및 조직 항상성 유지에 관여하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다.
이 유전자는 대체 스플라이싱을 통해 두 가지 전사 변이체를 생성하며, 해당 전사체의 발현은 사이토카인 및 성장 인자에 의해 다르게 조절됩니다.
