Description:
The CEW33D monoclonal antibody reacts with human CD183 (CXCR3), a G protein-coupled chemokine receptor interacting with CXCL9 (MIG), CXCL10 (IP-10), and CXCL11 (I-TAC). CD183 is associated with type 1 immunity and is upregulated in Th1 cells, CD8 effector cells, NK cells, and NKT cells. It mediates infiltration of inflamed tissues and is expressed in certain B cells and plasmacytoid dendritic cells.
Applications Reported:
- Suitable for flow cytometric analysis.
Applications Tested:
- Pre-titrated and tested on normal human peripheral blood cells.
- Recommended usage: 5 µL (0.5 µg) per test (100 µL final volume).
- Cell number: 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test.
Fluorophore Information:
- eFluor® 660 is a replacement for Alexa Fluor® 647.
- Emission: 659 nm; Excitation: 633 nm (Red Laser).
- Ensure compatibility with instrument.
- Filtration: 0.2 µm post-manufacturing filtered.
Target Information
This gene encodes a G protein-coupled receptor selective for chemokines IP10, Mig, and I-TAC. These ligands belong to the CXC chemokine subfamily and mediate leukocyte traffic, integrin activation, and chemotactic migration. The receptor couples with Gi-class G proteins and participates in rapid, transient cellular responses. It is prominently expressed in effector/memory T cells and inflamed tissues, contributing to inflammatory cell recruitment. It serves as a potential therapeutic target for inflammatory diseases.
