Product Specific Information

This antibody is directed against mouse SPS1. BLAST analysis suggests cross-reactivity with SPS1 from mouse, human, and rat based on 100% sequence homology. Reactivity with homologues from other species is not known.
Target Information
This protein encodes an enzyme that synthesizes selenophosphate from selenide and ATP. Selenophosphate serves as the selenium donor for the synthesis of selenocysteine, which is co-translationally incorporated into selenoproteins at in-frame UGA codons.
