Target Information
CCL4 (macrophage inflammatory protein 1-beta, MIP1B)는 intercrine beta (chemokine CC) 계열에 속하며, 화학주성 및 염증 반응 조절, 항상성 유지에 관여합니다.
CCL4는 대식세포가 세균 내독소에 의해 자극될 때 생성되며, 염증 부위에서 다양한 염증세포를 유도 및 활성화합니다.
이 단백질은 림프구, 대식세포, 수지상세포 등에서 발현되며, CCL3와 함께 병원체 침입에 대한 숙주 반응을 조절합니다.
CCL4는 CD4+ 림프구를, CCL3는 CD8+ 림프구를 선택적으로 유도하며, 두 단백질 모두 B세포, 호산구, 수지상세포의 강력한 화학주성 인자로 작용합니다.
또한, 처리된 형태의 CCL4는 CCR5 수용체 발현을 하향 조절하여 HIV-1의 T세포 내 진입을 억제할 수 있습니다.
CCL4는 CCR5 수용체에 높은 친화도로 결합합니다.
