For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

Wilms' tumor (WT) is an embryonal kidney malignancy affecting 1 in 10,000 infants. The Wilms' tumor protein (WT1) binds DNA at the GCGGGGGCG sequence, acting as a transcriptional repressor. WTAP (Wilms tumor 1-associating protein) is a nuclear protein interacting with WT1, involved in mRNA splicing regulation.
WTAP localizes in nuclear speckles and regulates the G2/M cell cycle transition by binding to the 3′ UTR of cyclin A2, enhancing its stability. It also inhibits WT1 target gene expression and interferes with WT1 DNA binding. Two isoforms of WTAP exist due to alternative splicing.
