Alpha-1-B glycoprotein (A1BG)는 알려진 기능이 없는 혈장 단백질로, 면역글로불린 슈퍼패밀리에 속합니다. 인간 A1BG는 약 63 kDa 크기의 단일 폴리펩타이드로 474개의 아미노산과 네 개의 글루코사민 올리고당을 포함합니다. 이 단백질은 다섯 개의 반복 구조 도메인을 가지며 각각 약 95개의 아미노산과 하나의 이황화 결합을 포함합니다. 최근 연구에서 인간 CRISP-3 단백질이 A1BG의 결합 파트너로 밝혀졌으며, A1BG-CRISP-3 복합체가 순환 중 자유 CRISP-3의 잠재적 유해 효과로부터 보호하는 기능을 가질 수 있음이 제시되었습니다.
