Target Information
NDUFA8 is an accessory subunit of the mitochondrial membrane respiratory chain NADH dehydrogenase (Complex I), not directly involved in catalysis. Mammalian complex I consists of 45 different subunits and transfers electrons from NADH to the respiratory chain, with ubiquinone as the immediate electron acceptor.
