• Description: Monoclonal mouse IgG1 kappa immunoglobulin useful as an isotype control.
• Applications Reported: Suitable for flow cytometric analysis.
• Applications Tested: Tested on mouse splenocytes and normal human peripheral blood cells. Use at the same concentration as the experimental antibody.
• Fluorochrome Information: Brilliant Ultra Violet™ 661 (BUV661) emits at 660 nm and is designed for cytometers with an ultraviolet (355 nm) laser. Confirm your instrument compatibility.
• Buffer Recommendation: When using multiple polymer dye-conjugated antibodies, use Super Bright Complete Staining Buffer (Product # SB-4401) or Brilliant Stain Buffer™ (Product # 00-4409-75) to minimize non-specific interactions.
• Light Sensitivity: Protect from light due to photo-induced oxidation sensitivity.
• Fixation: Samples can be stored in IC Fixation Buffer (Product # 00-8222) or 1-step Fix/Lyse Solution (Product # 00-5333) for up to 3 days at 4°C in the dark with minimal impact on brightness and FRET efficiency.
• Excitation / Emission / Laser: 350 nm / 660 nm / Ultraviolet Laser.

Target Information

Mouse IgG1 is a subtype of immunoglobulin G antibody produced by B cells in response to an antigen. It is the most abundant IgG subtype in serum and plays a key role in adaptive immune responses, including opsonization, complement activation, and antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity.
It is widely used in research and diagnostic applications such as ELISA, Western blotting, and immunohistochemistry, as well as in therapeutic research including immunotherapy and vaccine development.
