Product Specific Information
This antibody detects endogenous levels of MAZ only when phosphorylated at Thr72.
Target Information
MAZ may function as a transcription factor with dual roles in transcription initiation and termination.
It binds to two sites, ME1a1 and ME1a2, within the MYC promoter (greater affinity for ME1a1), and to multiple G/C-rich sites within promoters of Sp1 family transcription factors.
It also regulates inflammation-induced expression of serum amyloid A proteins.
