Target Information
Vimentin은 중간엽 기원의 세포에서 발견되는 발달 조절 중간 필라멘트 단백질(IFP)입니다. 세포 내 단백질의 핵과 세포막 사이 이동에 관여하며, 세포 발달 초기에 desmin과 함께 발현됩니다. 발달 과정 중에는 조직 특이적 IFP로 대체됩니다. 또한 스테로이드 합성 속도 조절에 관여하며, vimentin 인산화는 세포골격 변화와 콜레스테롤 수송 활성화를 유도하여 스테로이드 합성을 증가시킵니다.
