Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
ITGB1 (Integrin Subunit Beta 1, CD29) is a 110 kDa cell surface glycoprotein expressed by various cell types, including all leukocytes.
It forms heterodimers with multiple alpha chains (α1–α6), determining integrin binding specificity.
ITGB1 functions as a cell adhesion molecule and is involved in immune cell trafficking, tissue damage regulation, and inflammatory responses.
Decreased ITGB1 expression is associated with multidrug resistance in tumor cells.
Two major isoforms exist, β1A and β1D, which show tissue-specific distribution.
