Target Information
CD63 (LAMP-3, lysosome-associated membrane protein-3)은 tetraspanin 계열의 당단백질로, 다양한 세포의 late endosome, lysosome 및 분비 소포에 존재합니다.
CD63은 세포 활성화 후 혈장막에 위치하며, basophil activation marker로 널리 사용됩니다. Mast cell에서는 활성화 없이도 CD63이 발현될 수 있습니다.
CD63은 integrin과 상호작용하여 식세포작용과 세포 이동에 영향을 주며, H/K-ATPase 및 ROMK1 채널 조절에도 관여합니다. 또한 T-cell costimulation 분자로 작용합니다.
CD63 발현은 암의 초기 예후 예측에 활용될 수 있으며, 활성화된 혈소판, 단핵구, 대식세포에 존재하고, 과립구, B, T 세포에서는 약하게 발현됩니다.
CD63은 melanoma-associated antigen ME491 및 platelet antigen PTLGP40과 동일한 단백질입니다.
CD63 기능 이상은 흑색종 및 Hermansky-Pudlak Syndrome과 관련되어 있습니다.
