Product Specific Information
Immunohistochemistry (PFA fixed): Incubate antibody for 30 minutes at room temperature.
Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires heating tissue sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA, pH 9.0, for 45 minutes at 95°C, followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 minutes.

CD63 (LAMP-3, lysosome-associated membrane protein-3)은 tetraspanin 계열의 당단백질로, 다양한 세포 유형의 후기 엔도좀, 리소좀 및 분비 소낭에 존재합니다. 또한 세포 활성화 후에는 세포막에서도 발견됩니다.
CD63은 basophil 활성화 마커로 널리 사용되며, integrin과 상호작용하여 식세포 작용 및 세포 이동에 영향을 미치고, ROMK1 채널 조절 및 H/K-ATPase 수송에도 관여합니다.
CD63 발현은 암의 초기 단계 예후 예측에 활용될 수 있으며, 활성화된 혈소판, 단핵구, 대식세포에서 발현됩니다.
CD63은 melanoma-associated antigen ME491 및 platelet antigen PTLGP40과 동일합니다.
CD63 기능 이상은 흑색종 및 Hermansky-Pudlak 증후군과 관련이 있습니다.
