Product Specific Information
- In sandwich ELISAs, less than 0.03% cross-reactivity with recombinant human CCL3, mouse CCL9/10, and mouse CCL4, and less than 0.4% cross-reactivity with human CCL7.
- Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
- Endotoxin level <0.10 EU per 1 µg of antibody (LAL method).
Target Information
MIP-1α and MIP-1β are CC chemokines involved in host defense against bacterial, viral, parasitic, and fungal infections. They regulate the trafficking and activation of inflammatory cells such as macrophages, lymphocytes, and NK cells.
MIP-1α selectively attracts CD8+ lymphocytes, while MIP-1β attracts CD4+ lymphocytes. Both are potent chemoattractants for B cells, eosinophils, and dendritic cells, and are active on human and murine hematopoietic cells.
