Target Information
NTRK2 (TrkB)는 신경영양 인자(neurotrophic factor) 수용체 패밀리에 속하는 단백질로, 포유류 신경계의 발달과 유지에 핵심적인 역할을 합니다. TrkB는 brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF)의 수용체로서 시냅스 기능과 장기 강화(long-term potentiation)를 조절합니다.
TrkB는 tyrosine kinase로서 TrkA와 유사하며, 중추 및 말초 신경계 조직에서 주로 발현됩니다. BDNF 및 NT-3에 의해 TrkB gp145 수용체가 인산화되며, BDNF에 의한 반응이 NT-3보다 훨씬 강력합니다.
TrkB 신호전달은 MAPK 경로를 통해 세포 분화로 이어지며, TrkB 유전자 변이는 비만 및 기분 장애와 관련이 있습니다. 다양한 스플라이스 변이체가 보고되어 있습니다.
