Preparation:
Produced from sera of rabbits immunized with highly pure Recombinant Human sTRAIL Receptor-2. Anti-Human sTRAIL Receptor-2-specific antibody was purified by affinity chromatography and subsequently biotinylated.

Sandwich ELISA:
For detection of hsTRAIL Receptor-2 by sandwich ELISA (100 µL/well antibody solution), use at 0.25–1.0 µg/mL. When paired with PeproTech Polyclonal Anti-Human sTRAIL Receptor-2 (500-P299) as capture antibody, this biotinylated antibody enables detection of at least 0.2–0.4 ng/well of Recombinant hsTRAIL Receptor-2.

Western Blot:
For detection of hsTRAIL Receptor-2 by Western Blot, use at 0.1–0.2 µg/mL. With compatible secondary reagents, detection limit for Recombinant hsTRAIL Receptor-2 is 1.5–3.0 ng/lane under reducing or non-reducing conditions.

Target Information

DR5 (Apo2, TRAIL-R2, TRICK2, KILLER) is a death domain-containing receptor for TRAIL, mediating TRAIL-induced apoptosis. It belongs to the TNF-receptor superfamily and transduces apoptosis signals through its intracellular death domain. DR5 activation involves TNFSF10/TRAIL/APO-2L and requires FADD, a death domain adaptor protein. Multiple transcript variants exist, including coding and non-coding forms. Overexpression of DR5 induces apoptosis and NF-kappa-B activation. DR5 is expressed in various cell types, especially lymphocytes and spleen. Dysregulation is associated with squamous cell carcinoma and diffuse infiltrative lymphocytosis syndrome.
