The DL-101 monoclonal antibody reacts with human CD138 (syndecan-1), a transmembrane proteoglycan containing chondroitin sulfate and heparin sulfate chains that mediate binding to extracellular matrix components.
CD138 is absent in mature B cells but expressed in pre-B and plasma cells.
- Applications Reported: Flow cytometric analysis
- Applications Tested: Pre-titrated; validated with U266 cells
- Usage: 5 µL (0.5 µg) per 100 µL cell sample (10⁵–10⁸ cells/test)
- Light Sensitivity: Protect from light; PE-Cy7 is sensitive to photo-induced oxidation

- Use IC Fixation Buffer (#00-8222-49)
- Or 1-step Fix/Lyse Solution (#00-5333-54)
- Store fixed samples up to 3 days at 4°C in the dark
