Target Information
IDO1은 heme을 포함하는 세포 내 효소로, tryptophan, serotonin, melatonin 등의 인돌 고리를 산화적 절단하여 kynurenine 대사산물을 생성합니다.
이 효소는 다양한 조직과 면역세포(대식세포, 수지상세포 등)에서 발현되며, IFN-γ에 의해 유도됩니다.
IDO1의 활성은 트립토판 고갈을 통해 바이러스, 세균, 기생충의 성장을 억제하며, 감염, 임신, 자가면역, 이식, 종양 등 다양한 면역조절 과정에서 중요한 역할을 합니다.
