For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

PROZ (Protein Z) is a vitamin K-dependent plasma glycoprotein (~62 kDa, 396 amino acids) with four domains: a Gla-rich region, two EGF-like domains, and a trypsin-like domain.
Although structurally related to several serine proteases (factors VII, IX, X, and protein C), PROZ lacks catalytic activity due to the absence of a key serine residue.
It participates in the coagulation cascade by enhancing the degradation of factor Xa through the protein Z-dependent protease inhibitor (ZPI).
Deficiency of PROZ has been variably associated with both thrombosis and bleeding tendencies.
