Target Information

SLIT and NTRK-like family 6 (Slitrk6)은 6개의 상동 막단백질(Slitrk1–6)로 구성된 단백질 패밀리의 일원으로, 세포외 도메인에 두 개의 보존된 leucine-rich repeat 도메인을 가지고 있으며, 축삭 성장 조절 단백질인 Slit과 높은 상동성을 보입니다. 또한 세포내 도메인은 trk neurotrophin receptor와 유사성을 가집니다.
Slitrk 단백질은 주로 신경조직 및 뇌종양 조직에서 발현되며, Slitrk6은 혀, 폐, 위장관, 췌장 등에서도 관찰됩니다. Slitrk1을 제외한 모든 Slitrk 단백질과 마찬가지로, Slitrk6의 과발현은 배양 신경세포에서 신경돌기 생장을 억제하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다. 최소 두 가지 isoform이 존재합니다.
