For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, it is recommended to perform desalting (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

Post Synaptic Density 95 kDa (PSD-95), also known as synapse-associated protein 90 kDa (SAP90), is a membrane-associated protein located in the postsynaptic density of forebrain neurons and certain presynaptic structures in the cerebellum.
PSD-95 contains three PDZ domains, an SH3 domain, and a guanylate kinase (GuK) domain. It plays a role in clustering NMDA receptors and Shaker-type potassium channels at the synaptic membrane in CNS neurons.

Two main interaction modes are known:

  1. Binding via C-terminal T/SXV motifs shared by NMDA receptors and potassium channels.
  2. PDZ-PDZ interactions with neuronal nitric oxide synthase (nNOS).
