Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems by cloning specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select the best candidates for production.

Target Information

DR5 (Apo2, TRAIL-R2, TRICK2, KILLER) is a death domain-containing receptor for TRAIL that mediates TRAIL-induced apoptosis. It belongs to the TNF receptor superfamily and contains an intracellular death domain. DR5 activation by TNFSF10/TRAIL/APO-2L transduces apoptotic signals. FADD, a death domain adaptor protein, is required for DR5-mediated apoptosis. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms and one non-coding transcript have been identified. DR5 overexpression induces apoptosis and activates NF-κB. It is expressed in multiple cell types, especially lymphocytes and spleen. DR5 dysfunction is associated with squamous cell carcinoma and diffuse infiltrative lymphocytosis syndrome.
