Target Information
TNFalpha-IP 8 (tumor necrosis factor, alpha-induced protein 8)은 NFkappa B 및 TNF에 의해 유도되는 198개의 아미노산으로 구성된 세포질 단백질입니다.
TNFalpha-IP 8은 NFkappa B 활성화에 의존적으로 TNF에 의해 유도되며, apoptosis를 음성 조절하고 종양 진행에도 관여할 수 있습니다.
이 단백질은 caspase-8 활성을 억제하여 BID 절단과 caspase-3 활성화를 억제함으로써 TNF 매개 세포사멸을 저해합니다.
TNFalpha-IP 8은 흉선, 골수, 림프절, 비장, 갑상선, 태반 및 다양한 종양 조직뿐 아니라 태아 폐, 간, 신장에서 높은 수준으로 발현됩니다.
대체 스플라이싱에 의해 생성된 세 가지 isoform 형태로 존재합니다.
