Mouse anti-Pig CD45RC, clone MIL15 recognizes a restricted CD45 epitope encoded by the CD45 C exon and binds both the approximately 210 kDa RC and approximately 226 kDa RAC isoforms.
Target Information
CD45RC (PTPRC) is a protein tyrosine-protein phosphatase required for T-cell activation through the antigen receptor. It acts as a positive regulator of T-cell coactivation upon binding to DPP4. The first PTPase domain has enzymatic activity, while the second affects substrate specificity. Upon T-cell activation, CD45RC recruits and dephosphorylates SKAP1 and FYN. Mutations of this gene can result in severe combined immunodeficiency and multiple sclerosis.
