For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, perform an additional desalting step (Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

The MDM2 protein regulates p53 protein stability. MDMX (also known as MDM4) inhibits MDM2-mediated degradation of p53 through distinct interactions with MDM2.
The MDMX gene is often amplified in malignant gliomas. ARF interacts with MDMX to sequester it within the nucleolus, resulting in increased p53 transactivation.
MDMX expression can counteract MDM2-targeted degradation of p53 while maintaining suppression of p53 transactivation.
Like MDM2, MDMX also binds and stabilizes p73, increasing its half-life.
