Target Information
MGST2 (Microsomal glutathione S-transferase 2)는 인간 MGST2 유전자에 의해 암호화된 147개의 아미노산으로 구성된 단백질입니다.
이 단백질은 LTA4(Leukotriene A4)와 환원형 글루타티온으로부터 LTC4(Leukotriene C4)를 생성하며, 1-chloro-2,4-dinitrobenzene과 환원형 글루타티온의 결합 반응도 촉매합니다.
MGST2는 호모다이머 형태의 다중 통과 막단백질로, MAPEG 패밀리에 속합니다.
간, 비장, 골격근, 심장, 부신, 췌장, 전립선, 고환, 태아 간 및 태아 비장에서 발현되며, 폐, 뇌, 태반, 골수에서는 낮은 수준으로 발현됩니다.
또한 MGST2는 인간 제대정맥 내피세포(HUVECs)에서 발현되는 유일한 GST입니다.
