Target Information
Protein kinase A (PKA, cAMP-dependent protein kinase)는 세포 주기, 세포 간 신호전달, 기억 형성, 행동 조절 등 다양한 생리적 과정에서 중요한 역할을 하는 신호전달 경로의 핵심 요소입니다.
PKA는 두 개의 catalytic (PKAc) 서브유닛과 두 개의 regulatory (PKAr) 서브유닛으로 구성되어 있습니다.
cAMP가 결합하면 복합체가 해리되어 PKAr 이합체와 두 개의 활성화된 PKAc 단량체로 나뉩니다.
활성화된 PKAc는 핵으로 이동하여 여러 핵 수용체의 활성화를 조절합니다.
PKAc에 의해 매개되는 삼투압 의존적 유전자 발현은 cAMP 비의존적입니다.
인간은 세 가지 PKAc 서브유닛(alpha, beta, gamma)을 발현하며, alpha는 대부분의 조직에 존재하고, beta와 gamma는 조직 특이적으로 존재하며 gamma는 고환에서 발견됩니다.
