Product Specific Information

Reconstitution: Add 25 µL, 50 µL, or 0.2 mL of double distilled water (DDW), depending on sample size.
The antibody ships as a lyophilized powder at room temperature. Upon arrival, store at -20°C.
Reconstituted solution can be stored at 4°C for up to 1 week. For longer storage, aliquot and keep at -20°C.
Avoid multiple freezing and thawing cycles.
Centrifuge all antibody preparations before use (10,000 × g, 5 min).

Target Information

Grin3a is an NMDA (N-methyl-D-aspartate) receptor subtype of glutamate-gated ion channels with reduced single-channel conductance, low calcium permeability, and low voltage-dependent sensitivity to magnesium.
It is mediated by glycine and may play a role in dendritic spine development and PPP2CB-NMDAR signaling.
Grin3a belongs to the superfamily of glutamate-regulated ion channels, functioning in physiological and pathological processes of the central nervous system.
It shows >90% identity to the rat subunit.
Knockout mouse studies suggest involvement in synaptic element development by modulating NMDA receptor activity.
Diseases associated with GRIN3A include Lingual-Facial-Buccal Dyskinesia.
