Product Specific Information

For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional round of desalting using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

Skp2 (S-phase Kinase-associated Protein 2) belongs to the F-box protein family that interacts with the Cyclin A-Cdk2 complex.
It is essential for the G1-S transition in transformed cells and diploid fibroblasts. Skp2 mediates ubiquitination and degradation of p27 in mammalian cells and in vitro assays.
In normal tissues, Skp2 is expressed in tonsil and placenta, while in tumor tissues, it shows high expression in lung, breast, ovarian, and endometrial cancers.
Research suggests Skp2 plays a role in oncogenesis, particularly in lymphomas and breast cancers.
