Product Specific Information
Reconstitution: Add 50 µL double distilled water (DDW), depending on sample size.
The antibody ships as a lyophilized powder at room temperature. Upon arrival, store at -20°C.
Reconstituted solution can be stored at 4°C for up to 1 week. For longer storage, aliquot and store at -20°C.
Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles. Centrifuge all antibody preparations before use (10,000 × g, 5 min).
Target Information
Glucose transporter 2 (GLUT2) is an integral plasma membrane glycoprotein expressed in liver, pancreatic islet beta cells, intestine, and kidney epithelium.
It mediates facilitated bidirectional glucose transport and acts as a glucose sensor due to its low affinity for glucose.
Mutations in the SLC2A2 gene cause Fanconi-Bickel syndrome.
