Product Specific Information
Reconstitution: Add 50 µL of double distilled water (DDW), depending on sample size. The antibody ships as a lyophilized powder at room temperature. Upon arrival, store at -20°C. The reconstituted solution can be stored at 4°C for up to 1 week. For longer storage, aliquot and keep at -20°C. Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles. Centrifuge all antibody preparations before use (10,000 × g, 5 min).
Target Information
Glucose is fundamental to mammalian cell metabolism. Several glucose transporter (GLUT) isoforms have been identified and are involved in insulin and IGF1 signaling.
GLUT3 is expressed in spermatids of testis with active spermatogenesis, placental trophoblast membranes, and neurons in the brain.
GLUT3 expression is also detected in human cancers including ovary, lung, and testis.
