For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

Secretory carrier membrane proteins (SCAMPs) are components of post-Golgi membranes involved in membrane trafficking.
In fibroblasts, SCAMPs localize to compartments associated with receptor recycling and endocytosis.
In neurons, they are found in synaptic vesicles, secretion granules, and transporter vesicles.
SCAMPs contain four transmembrane regions and a cytoplasmic tail.
Among the five SCAMPs, SCAMPs 1–3 have N-terminal NPF repeats interacting with EH domain proteins involved in vesicle budding.
SCAMPs 4 and 5 lack these repeats. SCAMPs 1–4 are ubiquitously expressed, while SCAMP 5 is brain-specific and expressed late in development, coinciding with synapse maturation.
